Authorized Reseller Requirements
To preserve the quality and reputation of the brand, certain minimum standards must be met in order to become an Authorized Reseller for Catalyst® products in a specific sales channel.
While there may be exceptions, in order to sell to particular channels Resellers will typically meet prerequisites for approval. Authorization is required for each individual channel.
General
- Physical business address (Post office boxes are insufficient).
- Established reputation & track record of sales of similar products, recognized as credible and quality destination to buy in that channel
- Maintain storage conditions, exercise quality control (inspection & review, removal of damaged goods) & do not fulfil orders from stock not in possession
- Use own secure warehouse, do not use third party fulfilment, avoid co-mingling of inventory with other sellers
- Do not sell damaged, defective product, relabel, repackage or alter products, tamper deface or modify identifying info
- Meets all legal and compliance for territories that the reseller wishes to sell to; only sells within the approved territories.
Brick and Mortar
- Sufficient trained personnel to demo & sell Catalyst® products in store, deal with technical enquiries & assess if products working, provide customer service that follow training & instructions provided
- High quality & timely pre- and post-sales service in store
- Operate under the Authorized Reseller's name, display products on shelf, maintain merchandise products in good condition
- Telephone landline for customer service questions on 9-5PM on business days, voicemail for after hours
- No trading under a different name than the one registered with territorial authorities (Tax/GST/VAT) or the one used to apply for Authorized Reseller approval.
- No misleading information, No omittance of essential information
Online Website(s)
- Professional URL(s) that experiences limited down time, hosted on a secure server in a commonly used jurisdiction; also compliant with data security, accessibility, privacy, consumer and other relevant laws for that jurisdiction.
- Able to maintain the online website current on a day-to-day basis, selling under the Authorized Reseller’s Legal Name (same as registered Tax/GST/VAT name) and displaying physical address (same as the registered address).
- Customer Service can be reached via landline phone number (mobile number insufficient) and email during business hours (9-5PM) on weekdays with voicemail after hours with a prompt response within 24 hours. CS support team offered in the official language of the countries where products are sold. Satisfactory online review history with no significant negative product or seller reviews.
- Catalyst products displayed in product detail pages or landing pages dedicated to each Catalyst product category with specific Catalyst authorized technical specifications and sufficient stock to meet market demand offering shipping and payment methods in line with a premium website, clearly specifying all charges to customers (no co-mingling of products from other sellers, no drop shipping, and no bait & switch)
- Advertising accounts under the Reseller’s legal name, no black hat tactics or strategies.
- Authorization to use Catalyst digital assets is subject to compliance with terms.
Marketplaces
- Have the ability to keep the online shop current on a day-to-day basis, with the website shown as the Authorized Reseller’s Legal Name (which is the same as registered Tax/GST/VAT name & online store name)
- Landline phone number (mobile number insufficient) and Email Address for Customer Service, 9-5PM on business days, voicemail for after hours, promptly responding to customers within 24 hours
- CS support in the official language of the countries offered for sale.
- 3 Years Proven Experience selling on the marketplace with an acceptable positive online review history with positive seller rating over 85%
- Order defect rate under 1%, late shipment rate under 2%, order tracking & fulfillment on all orders from approved warehouse
- No use of black hat strategies
- Advertising, product listing and customer service in native language of the customer where products will be sold with staff fluent in the language, designed to achieve a minimum conversion rate that is at least inline with industry benchmark
- Sales only to the approved marketplace; each marketplace must be approved separately
- Authorization to use Catalyst digital assets is subject to compliance with terms.
B2B Enterprise
- Listing on relevant purchasing sites maintained on a day-to-day basis and responding to RFPs, quotes and replying to information requested.
- Managing relationships with B2B Enterprise customers including knowledge of customer purchase cycles, sector-specific requirements and how to provide solutions to address customer needs.
- Effective communication about any bulk purchase, customization or unique needs, understanding of installation, complementary products, servicing
- Ability to provide training, resources, post-sales service, marketing, assembly, configuration, packaging, shipping including customer and sector specific needs.
B2B Healthcare
- The sales personnel must have extensive demonstrable experience in the sale of products in the medical field, trained in the handling of disinfectants, especially with regard to the different types and their application with in-depth knowledge of specific customer requirements in the medical field.
- Comprehensive specialist knowledge of the products sold, the materials used and their structure is essential. Sales staff should regularly participate in training programs to keep abreast of the latest technology and medical developments. A deep understanding of medical regulatory and compliance issues is required.
- A complaints and repair center must be available in the region to ensure that customer concerns are dealt with quickly and efficiently.
- Product and user training should be offered at the place of use. A training room should be available that can accommodate at least 15 people. Customer support on 7 days a week should be available to handle urgent requests and problems immediately. A test area should be available to check the compatibility of items with disinfectants on site. Regular post-purchase follow-ups should be conducted to ensure customer satisfaction and maintain long-term customer relationships.
- Proven experience with access to Apple certified enterprise resellers, listing with the top 5 system houses in the medical sector, access to purchasing associations, direct contact with the university hospitals, regular attendance at trade fairs, marketing and promotion in established specialist healthcare media, partnerships with universities and research institutions in the medical field, discussions with leading opinion leaders and experts in the medical field, and online presence on specialized medical platforms and social networks to strengthen the brand digitally.
- Specialist advice should be offered in the local language to ensure clear and effective communication with customers.
